Must Have’s For Your Wedding Day Emergency Bag

Having a thoroughly packed tool box with you on a wedding day is a priority, whether you’re a wedding planner, venue owner, or a bride or groom! It helps you avoid or fix problems that come up on a wedding day with a breeze. Below are the links to actual products I use and keep stocked in my wedding day tool box at all times!

  • Good Quality Tool Box or Bag!

    • I have this large rolling tool box for large off site weddings and a smaller tool bag for low maintenance weddings or for venue that are too challenging to take the large one to.

  • Organizers for your tool box

    • These work in both your tool box and tool bag. I use them to hold and organize all of my small items in my bag so they are easy to find. Things like boutonniere pins, safety and bobby pins.

  • First Aid Kit

    • I can’t tell you the amount of times I have been so so thankful I’ve had this first aid kit on hand. From a headache to a bad cut, this first aid kit is a must have on a wedding day to keep everyone safe.

  • Wind Proof Torch Lighters

    • To light sparklers and candles with ease no matter the wind or weather, these bad boys are the way to go. And always make sure you have more than one!

  • Floral Tool Kit

    • This kit has come in handy quite a bit. When the florist leaves after their initial setup/drop off, flower arrangements or boutonnières etc sometimes need fixing/adjusting. ( a lot of times it is a groomsman that has gone rogue and messed up his boutonnière). This kit gives you all the basics you need to do small touchups if necessary on any floral arrangement.

  • Chalk Markers

    • Chalk markers are great to have to write or fix any signage at a wedding without leaving any permanent marks.

  • Travel Toiletry Kit

    • Having a kit that has all the basics including a razor and nail clippers is a must!

  • Bobby Pins

    • For pinning back the stray hair or keeping that veil in place on a windy day!

  • Fashion Tape

    • For when the bride’s strap won’t stay in place or the mother of the bride is showing more skin than she’d like, this is the way to go!

  • Tide to Go Pens

    • When that bridesmaid comes to you saying she spilled wine on her dress. Or some great aunt accidentally got makeup on the groom’s collar after hugging him too tight. You’ll be able to save the day with these babies!

  • Super Glue

    • We use super glue constantly! I’ve used it to fix bridesmaids shoes that have broken or wedding decor that has cracked and much more.

  • Safety Pins

    • There is always a need for safety pins! I recommend having straight pins as well for pinning boutonnieres on if needed.

  • Assortment of Command Hooks and Strips

    • I can’t tell you the amount of weddings I’ve worked where the couple has forgotten command strips or didn’t think through how to attach some decor to the wall. These always win.

  • Sharpies

    • Sharpies are another items that tend to get forgotten by the wedding couple. Usually needed to sign framed guest books and such.
